What I have here is the exhaust tip from a 2011+ Dodge Charger that's been sitting around thw shop for the past 2 years. What I also have is a single exhaust on my car and a hidden tip rather than the factory dual pipes and tips. Those tips alone are $200+ each not counting mounting hardware and the proper lower fascia to mount them.
So now I'm thinking, if I can find a way to mount this and route the exhaust, do you guys think it would look good in the center of my rear lower fascia?

Maybe. Execution is everything. It sounds like it'd look cool though.

If you have two of that it would look good in the center, if you only have one, it'd look great on the left side..

The problem with mounting it off center is that the rear fascia curves and it wouldn't sit flush. It's also pretty big, not far off the license plate in terms of width, so two may look silly in the center.

Ahh.. I see. But it does not look even on each side.. That's what's bugging me. That's why I said you needed two. But a square exhaust in the middle would look great though.

Oh its even, it's a trapezoid and it's interchangeable from side to side on the Charger.
My most realistic option is doing a custom exhaust and ditching the resonator and muffler for a cat-back straight 2.5" pipe and dumping it where it already is for a sleeper look from behind. Not that it's fast anyway, the exhaust is mainly for a better sound. It's very quiet stock with the single pipe.

Ahh, it IS even. Then go for it, rock that center exhaust :)

Exhaust tips that are built into bumpers are almost the worsts thing in automotive history. I know they are common now on new cars, Chrysler seems to LOVE them, but it just seems so cheap. It's like the car is riced out from the factory.

Sell the tip on one of the dodge forums and put the money towards new tires or some springs?

I was first introduced to them on my ex's mother's SRX.
They're not a terrible idea and I quite like the application on the Darts that have them, but they're always far bigger than the actual pipe. The Dart uses 2.25" but the tips are like 3.5", that's a bit ridiculous. The bright side of them is that they don't need adjustment. When we do upgraded exhausts on Rams at work it can be a pain getting the tips even.

Not a terrible idea, but I doubt the Charger tips have much value, every 2011+ has them. With the Dart, they're only on dual exhaust models and there are plenty of guys like me looking to upgrade the stock single pipe exhaust and the price making it look stock make it pointless.
I could still just buy the lower fascia, so at least it has the cutouts for the tips.

I have to get underneath my car and see what I'm working with. I was looking at the 2014 we have on the floor and there seems to be alot going on under that rear bumper, but I don't know if the 13s are the same.
